Better, is higher in quality, more skilful, appealing, effective and useful according to Webster.Twice or more, we've promised ourselves to be a better version. Is there a Change? Are we of higher quality? Is there an increase in value? I'm not saying these to make us feel depressed or dent but to stir up a sense of responsibility in us and also to be encouraged. Obviously, you cannot become better over night, being better is a process and a period of transformation. We all know that before we conclude that we've improved, it means there is an increase in positive change on areas we put our efforts, focus and interests and most times, people acknowledged and applaud that visible change.
Truth be told, when you research about "How to become a better person" on Google, there are hundreds of answers to that. I am amazed to see that people are desperate to become a better version and after a period of time, they gave up.
You cannot become better without God being involve in your life. The scripture said we should put God first in everything we do and Philippians 4:13 said "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me". The reason we are still in that state which is not a delay from God but from us is we doing things without involving God first, thinking it will be a success and lasting one forgetting Proverbs 16:3 "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established". Occasionally, we assist God to think as a result of our unbelief, not surprising Hebrews 3:19 says "So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
In conclusion, for you to become a better version of yourself, beyond The Believing in yourself, you have to Believe, trust, and put God first because He is the only Guidance with ZERO ERROR in this journey of fulfilling purpose.
