GOD IS IN CONTROL

Are you despaired, unsettled, or worried? Is there something you have made all efforts on and it is not yielding fruit? In other words, you have spent time and resources needed, yet all was futile. Perhaps, there are moments you were broken and could not figure a way out since your expectations were not met with all the believing and doing things rightly.

At the crossroads where every hope seems to be lost, where every vision seems blurry, where every goal and aim seems unattainable, where every pathway seems cracked, one thing you need to be aware of is that God is in control. To be in control means to be in charge, to dominate, to rule, and to have power over a person or thing. A driver is in control of a car, a pilot is in control of a plane, a doctor is in control of his patients and you are also in charge of your profession. How much more God, in whose image you were created? In actuality, God cannot be in control over you if you are not confident about him. There is a need to express your faith by depending on him in situations where your strength failed. If you have come to a point where you have only found disappointment, trust that God is always teaching and only wants what is best for you. One of the hardest, but most essential, pieces of allowing God to be in control is to have faith in Him.

You might be in a State of dilemma where the decision you are making seems to be meaningless, where life seems to be shapeless, you have to rest and be assured that God is in control. Regardless of the challenges stirred, trust him because he will not test you more than your faith. He knows every detail about you hence, why panic instead of trusting the one that can do exceedingly above all you can ask, think, or imagine? When you honor God by allowing him to take charge of your affairs, I am assured the outcome will be a great one.

A songwriter said “when you hold my hands, everything becomes possible”. Allowing God to control the wheel of your life in the journey of destiny and purpose, is one of the best decisions that should be made. As you journey through life, fear and anxiety will set in but casting all your cares upon him is necessary because he knows the end from the beginning. Isaiah said; “for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways saith the Lord”. God is big enough and his love is fierce enough to deal with anything you feel or must face. You may lose weeks, months and sometimes years of your lives trying to recover from something you feared would destroy you until the storm settles and you see that Christ was in control all along, no matter how things appeared or felt. It’s time to leave the state of being hopeless because in God you have hope and he is always ready to turn your hopeless situation into testimony.

Ultimately, If you are yet to hand over to the one who has control over you, he is beckoning on you right now. He wants you to call upon him to take control of all your affairs. You don’t have to hold onto your failures and disappointments, cast all your cares and burdens upon him because he is ready to take you to the place of fulfillment.
Can you say these words; dear lord, I have realized that you are in charge of my life and there is nothing better than submitting my visions to you. From henceforth, I will doubt you no more. I will keep my trust in you, knowing that you will not fail me. I will give birth to every purpose you placed in my heart and I will become everything you created me to be.
